New Adventures in Web Design is a design conference happening this week at the Albert Hall conference centre in Nottingham. We will be sponsoring the event, which is in its third year, and exhibiting our range of products on Thursday 24th January.
As well as attending lots of exciting design-led talks, attendees will also receive the brilliant New Adventures newspaper designed by Joff and Ollie and available to all as a free PDF download after the conference. You can download the 2011 and 2012 newspapers for free, here. We are also rather generously supplying each attendee with one our notebooks.
The New Adventures conference discusses the importance of good design and doesn’t confine itself to web-related content. It features discussions on the processes of and different approaches to design as well as professional design practice, but is continually rooted in innovation and creative thinking. We’re particularly looking forward to hearing from designer and master typographer Jon Tan, illustrator Jessica Hische and the design industry’s very own Renaissance man, Wayne Hemingway.
