Please read carefully the following terms of use (“Terms”) for the lanebypost.com website (“Site”) provided by The Lane Collection Ltd (“we/us”). You can print off these Terms, or store them in your computer for future reference.

All orders that you place on the Website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with the following terms of use (“Terms”) for the lanebypost.com website (“Site”) provided by The Lane Collection Ltd (“we/us”). You can print off these terms, or store them in your computer, for future reference. Please read them carefully.
1. Conditions of sale
In order to create a contract between you and us, please follow the simple on screen instructions taking you through the process of placing an order on the website. To place an order for the products select “Add to Basket”, go to “Shopping Basket”, choose your shipping region and update your basket, check the details and costs, click “Billing and Shipping”, add billing information, click checkout, add payment details, click “Process My Order” and then click “Confirm my Order”. In doing this you offer to buy the Goods at the prices indicated as well as any applicable delivery charges. We will send an automated order acknowledgement email to you, listing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is merely an acknowledgement of your order and not an acceptance or confirmation of your order by Lane.
The acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch of the products unless we have notified you that we have not accept your order or you have cancelled it. Once we have accepted your order it becomes binding, subject to your rights of cancellation. Non-acceptance of an order by us will occur in circumstances including we identify a pricing or product description error; the ordered product is out of stock or unavailable; or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
2. Pricing and Availability
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this Website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
The product price, as displayed, is inclusive of UK VAT at the appropriate rate.
3. Customs
If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which customers will need to pay on receipt of the shipment. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
4. Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your order at any time before you receive the products you ordered, by contacting Customer Services on 07812 053 730 if calling from within the UK or +44 7812 053 730 if calling from overseas. If these Products have already been assigned or dispatched when you contact us, you may return them within 7 days of receipt of delivery to receive a full refund.
5. Returns and Replacements
You may return your purchase for an exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving it. Simply post the item(s) back to us at the address listed at the bottom of this page.
If you return your order in full to us within 7 working days of receiving it, we will also refund your initial postage and packing charges. Your statutory rights on cancellation are not affected.
Exchanges will be honoured any time within 14 days of receipt of your purchase.
Please note, all delivery charges incurred on returns made after the 7 working day period noted above, or for exchanges, will be your responsibility. We are not responsible for return postage other than for incorrect, mis-described or faulty items, so please attach the correct postage. Sadly, we cannot be responsible for parcels that fail to reach us, so please make sure you obtain a certificate of posting as proof of purchase. We ask also that you return the items unused and in perfect condition.
We aim to process all returns within 48 hours of reaching us and will email or write to confirm when this has been done. Sometimes the limitations of the banking system mean that the refund may take a further few days to show up on your card statement.

7. Disclaimers
a) Your use of the Site is at your sole risk. The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and we do not guarantee that the Site will be suitable for your purposes or requirements. If your PC does not support relevant technology including encryption, you may not be able to use certain services or access certain information on the Site.
b) The Site is accessed via the World Wide Web which is independent of us. Your use of the World Wide Web is solely at your own risk and subject to all applicable national and international laws and regulations. d) We reserve the right to vary the terms from time to time, such variations becoming effective immediately upon posting to the Site and by continuing to use it, you will be deemed to accept any such variations.

10. Custom Designs/Orders
Orders for custom designed products will be taken by phone on 07812 053 730. We request that a 50% payment be made at the point of placing the order, with the balance to be paid on completion of the order, just prior to despatch. These items may require a specialised delivery service and carriage costs are dependent on geographical areas, our customer service staff will let you know these costs before you place your order and will arrange a delivery date with you prior to dispatch.
11. Cancellation and refund of custom designed products
We are not able to cancel orders or accept returns on any made-to-order items unless they are faulty or we have not followed your specification. Because of the bespoke nature of these products we would not be able to resell items made to a particular specification.
If we consider that the product is faulty we will rectify the problem or offer a full refund and in this instance you will not be charged for the return postage. If the returned item is found not to be faulty, the items will be returned to you without refund and you will incur the return postage costs.
